For the second year, Yara Marine is one of the main sponsors of the social highlight of the Nor-Shipping week: the traditional BBQ party hosted at DNV-GL park at Høvik.
The Nor-Shipping BBQ has since its origin in 1989 become an important “must attend” part of the week-long shipping exhibition in June. The traditional BBQ is a sold-out event during the week, gathering more than 2.500 attendees who enjoy great food and drinks in a friendly and informal outdoor business setting in the Veritas park in Høvik, Norway.
For Yara Marine Technologies’ CEO, Peter Strandberg, the BBQ is the most important networking arena during the shipping event. “The BBQ is three decades old and in a time of constant changes and focus on digital efficiency, it’s nice to have a venue where we can all catch up and enjoy great food in a beautiful outdoor setting. “In everyday business operations we don’t interact face to face as much as we used to and I think most of us still enjoy the opportunity to see the person behind the screen every now and then”, Strandberg says.
Yara Marine Technologies will also sponsor the well known Festival Street, the optimal venue to meet and greet before departing for the Nor-Shipping events. In Tjuvholmen, YMT will receive clients and friends at Bar Social on Wednesday and Thursday during the Nor-Shipping week, to enjoy a night-cap after the formal commitments.
Yara Marine will be located on the Norwegian Pavilion C03-30 next to the NME lounge area.
