Yara Marine Technologies has been invited by Shipping and Offshore Network, Norway to present our SOx abatement solutions at the organizations yearly seminar that will focus on the global sulphur cap that will take effect from 2020.
Up to 70,000 ships may be affected by the regulation according to IMO estimates and the shipping industry is naturally curious about the status, consequences and options facing the maritime industry in the years to come leading up to 2020.
Two seminars are planned for Monday 20 November at Grand Hotel Terminus in Bergen and Tuesday 21 November at Tjuvholmen Sjømagasin in Oslo and both events are a cooperation between Shipping & Offshore Network and Oslo Shipowners’ Association, YoungShip and WISTA.
The event will start off with an introduction by DNV GL and will end with a Q&A session before some finger food, wine and mingling. For more specific program details please open the attachement below.
